Ann Martino is the author of the Adventure in Alphabet Land series. She is a highly trained educator with a twenty-plus-year career in international education. Her professional teaching career began in Trinidad and Tobago, where she graduated from Valsayn Teacher’s College. She eventually migrated to Canada and is now an Ontario Certified Teacher, where she has chosen to work full-time as a Kindergarten teacher. As a lifelong learner, Ann has other qualifications in Computing and Information Systems, TESL Ontario, and TESL Canada. She is also completing a joint course in Foundations in Teaching English Online and Advanced Methods in Teaching English Online. Ann's passion is to inspire young beginner learners to master basic reading skills, thus setting them up for success.
